Our Mission
Raare is committed to the concept of "Customer
Delight through Clear Thinking". We recognize

expectations, and that technology is a mechanism to
achieve that goal and not the goal itself. We are

and designing solutions and processes that "make

Principals
Esther A. Poulsen, Chief
Executive Officer and Integration Solutions Principal
Esther is an Enterprise Portal Architect who has
worked in diverse business sectors for over eighteen
years. For the last decade she has been an information
technology developer and architect for the legal,
telecommunications and manufacturing industries. A
graduate of Temple University and the Babson College
School of Executive Education's IT Leadership program,
Esther is a frequent conference speaker on the subjects
of enterprise portals, knowledge management and web
strategies. Esther also edits the Raare
Insights newsletter (Integration Solutions
Edition), a periodical email journal filled with the
latest insights, news and strategies for enterprise
integration project leaders and professionals. Esther

Christopher P. Poulsen,
Chief Operating Officer and Healthcare
Technology Principal
Chris is a Certified Biomedical Engineering Technician
with over twenty years' experience in healthcare technology.
He is the operator of CurrentPath.com, an international
portal dedicated to best practices in clinicial and
biomedical engineering. He has authored several articles
for the Journal
of Clinical Engineering and is the founder of
the New Jersey Association of Clinical Engineering
Specialists (NJACES). He is currently employed with
an international healthcare technology company and
maintains his best practices portal for the benefit
and education of all biomedical professionals. Chris
also edits the Raare
Insights newsletter (Healthcare Technology
Edition), a periodical email journal filled with the
latest insights, news and strategies for clinical
engineering and healthcare technology compliance.

Raare Origins
Raare, Inc. (pronounced "rare") was founded
in 1995 as Crestor Engineering, and was rechristened
"Raare" in 1999 to reflect our outlook on
uncommon ways of thinking. Raare reflects our philosophy
and core strength in "Clear Thinking" --
solving problems in unique and creative ways. As technology
"early adopters", principals Christopher
Poulsen and Esther Poulsen
are passionate explorers of how innovative technology
tools can be used to solve real-world business problems.
We couple our interest in technology with over four
decades of business experience, including the financial,
legal, health care, pharmeceutical, manufacturing,
insurance, and high technology sectors.
